Why this site?

Well, I have experienced some clubs and teams, who want to focus on paddling instead of developing their own web site, which normally takes you to register a domain (that costs), to rent server space (that costs too) and finally spending lots of time for making the site (that keeps you away from paddling). Of course when making the choice they will decide to go out on the water, but still wishing to have a web site in order to promote the team or club or simply to share the joy of the sport with others online.

With THE PADDLE SPACE you can get within 2 minutes and for NO COST your site registered, hosted and running online.

Have no illusion, also here you need to spend some time to write your content. The advantage is, you can do it in small steps and always will have a working site, which can be visited.

You can change the look and feel by switching the theme with one click only and without loosing any of your content. There so called “fixed” themes, which you use as they are and there themes available where you can change header pictures and colors. You can upload videos up to 50MB file size, embed i.e. a You Tube video or get your photos posted on your pages.

If you are not very familiar with all this stuff please read GETTING STARTED. This pages will help you with some minor hints about things that simply could drive you crazy if don’t know them. It will take you about five minutes to read, but save hours of frustration.
